Privacy Policy for Spooks Side Quests
This Privacy Policy explains how Spook Builds handles information when you use Spooks Side Quests (“the game”, “the app”).
Information we process
Depending on the features you use, the game may process information needed to operate your account and game experience, including:
- Account and authentication information used to sign in.
- Cloud-save and gameplay data such as progress, inventory, skills, quests, combat state, pets, guild or party state, and settings.
- Player profile information you choose to provide, including display/profile information and an uploaded profile portrait.
- Social content you choose to send through game features, including public chat, guild or party chat, and private messages.
- Technical information required to operate the service, such as identifiers, timestamps, request logs, and security-related records generated by the hosting/database infrastructure.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and maintain the game, authenticate players, save and restore progress, enable multiplayer and social features, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect the security and integrity of the service.
Service providers
Spooks Side Quests uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate online features. This includes Supabase for services such as authentication, database storage, cloud-save functionality, realtime features, and related backend infrastructure. These providers may process data on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.
We do not sell personal information.
Public and social content
Information you deliberately post to public or shared social features may be visible to other players according to the feature you use. Private messages are intended for the participants in that conversation, but may still be stored and processed by the service infrastructure used to deliver the feature.
Profile images
If you upload a profile portrait, the image is stored so it can be displayed with your player profile. Only upload images you have the right to use and are comfortable associating with your account.
Data retention
We retain account and game data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the game, maintain security and integrity, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Data associated with an account may be deleted or anonymised following a valid account-deletion request, subject to limited retention where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or backup integrity.

Children
Spooks Side Quests is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary to operate the app in accordance with its published age rating and applicable platform rules. Players should only use the game if permitted under the rules that apply to their account and region.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect player data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the game changes. The latest version will be published at this URL with an updated date.
